Spent the night wishing back the sunrise
Spent the day waiting for night to fall
Counting all the places you could run to
Counting down the reasons that you have to stay
You have to stay
Always find yourself lost on the walk home
Hiding from the streetlights as you go
Counting all the steps that fall out of place
Counting all the things for which you are to blame
You are to blame
Falling through your memories as your eyes close
Trying to fight the feeling taking hold
Counting down the seconds till you're weightless
Counting down the time until you can let go

The title track pulled me into Slow Crush's orbit, but Tremble held me there - alongside Lull from the Hush LP and the whole of Seasurfer's Dive In, it can send me into an altered state of consciousness. The album vibrates with hints and nudges, from Slowdive twangs to a Corgan-esque chord shift, but Slow Crush are their own sound - thick, dark melodic, etherealistic soundscapes with Isa Holliday's vocals both binding the music and rising above it. One of the best bands in years. sentientpoet
DC-based musician Carni Klirs leads listeners on a series of soothing, self-guided journeys that pull from post-rock and ambient drone. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 30, 2021
Shoegaze ist die Kunst des Dröhnens, doch „Everything Is Alive“ setzt diese Elemente nur sparsam ein. Statt Hall- und Zerr-Sounds aufzutürmen, schäumt die Musik in feinen Bläschen über.
